Relax in our newly constructed Alberta Nest guest house. The guest house is modern, bright and airy with one-bedroom. You will enjoy the high ceilings, French doors & skylights. It is great home base for business or pleasure. We are steps away from the amazing Alberta Arts neighborhood with many cafes, breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, bike shops, galleries & boutiques. All are welcome at our guest house. LGBTQ+ friendly.
Enjoy the 1 bedroom guest house with a kitchen, TV, living area, heating & air conditioning, wi-fi, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, washer & dryer. The French doors open to your own fenced semi-private yard with outside seating area. The living area has amazing natural light. Guests sleeping in on the sofa bed may wish to bring a sleep eye mask if they want to sleep before sunset or after sunrise.
For families with young children, we offer some amenities for children including books & toys, room darkening shades in the bedroom, children’s dinnerware and a pack ‘n play (upon request).
We are in the heart of the Alberta Arts District in Portland. The neighborhood centers on Alberta Street, and stretches from approximately Williams Ave to 33rd Ave in the Northeast section of the city. We are steps away from many cafes, breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, bike shops, galleries & boutiques. One block from Salt & Straw Ice Cream!
Walking, bicycling, taking transit, taxis & Uber/Lyft are all great options to get around. We are 2 blocks from the closest bus stop. There are many great bike routes nearby including the Going Street Greenway. We are within the Biketown bike share zone.
We live on the same property as the guest house with our son and dog. We are both from Oregon, love biking, traveling and exploring the outdoors. We love to travel and go camping with our camp trailer. We started hosting in 2017 and look forward to meeting more travelers. Jason’s pronouns are he/him and Lorell’s pronouns are she/her. In property and land use planning, amenity is something considered to benefit a location, contribute to its enjoyment, and thereby increase its value.
Such a great place to stay, spotless with everything you need, felt right at home and so many places to go within walking distance. The hosts were super friendly and responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!
The Alberta Nest is a beautiful guest home that is close to many great restaurants and bars. The home is very comfortable, has great natural light, and even has heated floors in the bathroom! Lorell is also an amazing host who is very accommodating and quick with communication. Highly recommend!!
This place was so centrally located it removed a lot of the planning and logistics. They have a salt and straw at the end of the block which was amazing. Ice cream every night!!
Owning a home is a keystone of wealth… both financial affluence and emotional security.
